Young Workers Home Services · Manitoba, Canada

Privacy Policy.

This operational policy explains how Young Workers Home Services (“YWHS”, “we”, “us”) handles personal information in a PIPEDA-oriented way.

This page is operational information, not legal advice. It is intended to describe our current practices for people in Manitoba and across Canada who use our website or contact us.

What we collect

Depending on how you interact with YWHS, we may collect:

  • your name, email address, and province or community;
  • membership and invitation details, including activation and consent records;
  • Deal Pack purchase, item, status, and buyer-binding details;
  • partner requests, including business and contact details; and
  • visit requests, including the service requested, city, contact details, and notes.

Why we use it

We use information to provide and manage memberships, deliver Deal Pack links and offers, review partner and visit requests, communicate with you, protect the website, keep appropriate records, and meet our legal and operational responsibilities.

We do not sell personal information. We share it only when needed to operate the service, when you ask us to, or when required or permitted by law.

Invitation-only access

YWHS does not offer public self-registration. Membership sign-in and activation are invitation-based, and an invitation link may be used to connect a person to the appropriate membership or Deal Pack experience.

Cookies, sessions, and location

We use necessary cookies and session information to keep sign-in secure and maintain your session. We do not use those tools to create a public profile for sale.

We do not use GPS for routine tracking. If a future feature needs location information, GPS will be limited to an on-site/not-on-site check. Any future Turf planning would use anonymized location information rather than tracking an individual.

Consent, safeguards, and retention

We ask for meaningful consent where appropriate, including an electronic checkbox before membership activation or a public partner or visit request. We keep consent records with the related operational record so we can show what was agreed to and when.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards and retain information only as long as it is reasonably needed for the purpose collected, legal requirements, dispute handling, or legitimate operational records.

Your privacy requests

You may ask to access the personal information we hold about you, request a correction, or ask us to delete information where appropriate. Please email privacy@youngworkershs.ca and copy admin@youngworkers.ca. Tell us what you are requesting and how we can verify the relevant record; we may need to confirm your identity before responding.

We will review the request and respond within a reasonable period, subject to legal exceptions and records we must retain.
